Merry Christmas!

We have a cute little Christmas dress, but we'll have to put pictures of it up later.

Mike and I are super sick, so we didn't go out for Christmas today, which stinks.

This is Madison in her ball put. I love this picture of her... she actually looks -a lot- like me when I was a baby in this picture. I think it's the eyes. I think the ballpit needs more balls though. If I feel better tomorrow I think I'm going to go grab some. Can never have too many balls.

Shit Museum.

So, I got a request for the shit museum story, but I don't have any pictures from it. So, I included a cute picture instead.

Basically, she was in her crib, supposedly napping. Pulled her clothes and diaper off and rubbed poop everywhere. It was a disaster.

Heeeeeeeere she is! So cute in her little sweats. We went for a walk down the street today, which was nice. Played in the backyard, met some neighbors.

Our apartment is nice! I'd take some pictures, but we have toys everywhere, so it's not looking its best at the moment. I'll take pictures when she goes to sleep tonight and I clean up all of the stuff on the floor.

Mmm, what else? Not much else other than the fact that she's adorable. Likes to sit on the couch with me. Allergic to eggs. No eggs!

I <3 My Apartment

So! We've been busy busy bees recently! We're very close to getting this all set up, other than needing furniture in here. We slept here for the first time last night. Huzzah!

I love having a kitchen... I think that alone made it worth it.

When I get this place a little cleaner with some furniture I'll take some pictures.

I went to take a shower and I came back to finding these two asleep on the floor like this. It's so funny how Madison uses this bear as a pillow. Won't sleep without it. Mike said she actually walked into her room, grabbed the bear, brought it over to him, put it down, and passed out. Hehe.

So, we went to the zoo today. It was fun!

Almost moving!

Well, we are going to sign the lease tonight! So excited and nervous! I've got a lot of the room pack, but you know... I never thought that we had a lot of stuff until I started to put it in boxes. Like... I have -so much stuff.- I've thrown out a lot though, which is good, and needed. Hopefully we can go in tomorrow and clean.

Not much to say until we're there, really. I just wanted an excuse to post this picture of my nephew Alex and Madison.

Moving!

So, Mike and I decided that it's time to move out, and we're getting our own apartment! It's a little bit small, but for what we need right now, it's at a perfect price point, and a good size.

So, today, while Madison has been napping, I decided to -finally- tackle the attic. I had about... 10 crates filled with stuff I haven't touched in years. 5 bags for goodwill and 3 garbage bags later, I only have two boxes of crap. One is stuff I'm keeping for nostalgic value, the other is our winter clothes. This doesn't include Madison's stuff.

So, now I'm taking a short break, blogging, and going back into the attic to try and find one box that seems to be missing. I have a box filled with books that I've never had anywhere to put, since I never had a bookcase. In the apartment, there is a huge bookcase built into one of the walls, so I finally have somewhere to put these books, and I can't find the books!! I also have to take the empty crates out and bring them to my room and start to put stuff in them.

I'm looking around the room. We really don't have -that much- that we have to pack. There is a lot of crap in the closet that can go in boxes that'll just stay in storage in the attic. Mike's old baseball cards, stuff like that. We have my grandfather's old china that he bought in Japan, but that's already all packed up.

The apartment has lots of storage space. There are two storage areas by the front door. We'll probably use one for storage, and turn the other one into our closet, since only one of the bedrooms has a closet. And then we have the entire attic to ourselves. We also have a section of the basement for a washer/drier, some storage, and a place to keep our strollers and outdoor things, like Madison's pool and stuff. Now we just have to get a washer and drier.

I'm very exited, yet a bit scared at the same time. This is the first time that I'm not going to be living with my family. Although, we're just moving like, 5 minutes away, so it's not like I won't be here a lot. I'll probably be bringing the baby over to hang out with my sister and nephews a lot.

Mike wants to paint... I honestly don't want to paint. I mean, I'm not a fan of white walls either, but it's a lot of money and a hassle for somewhere that we'll be in for two years at most. Painting my room here was different, since it was kermit the frog green and the other room had no paint. The paint in this place isn't bad. It's just white. I'm sure some pictures on the wall and colorful things in the rooms can liven them up. We can get a funky bedset for our room, etc.

So yeah! I'm excited. I think we get the keys on the 28th, if not sooner. The guy is really nice, and he said something about going on vacation, so we'll be getting them before he goes.

Alright, I've got a ton more to say about this, but I really have to go in the attic some more and get everything in the garbage/in the car for goodwill etc before babygirl wakes up.

As shown here, babies like to make messes. And when they do so, they have absolutely no remorse over their actions.

I do not know what it is about the books. She walks to the bookcase, takes them all out, and just leaves them there. I can walk over, put them away, and two seconds later? They're on the floor again.

New Camera

So, I have purged myself of a bunch of old posessions, and I made a fair chunk of change on ebay. So, in celebration of having Madison for a year, and in celebration of our anniversary, Michael said I could get the camera I've been oogling for a long time now. (If I put other cameras I own up for sale, which I have.) So, today, we get a three picture special. These are some of the pictures I took with the new camera. Enjoy!

So, about a week ago I went out and bought Madison this elmo chair. She didn't like it. No sir. On that same day, I bought my nephews a Cars couch. They love it. Madison loved it.

I spent every day searching for the silly reciept. It wasn't until this morning that I found it, and now, the chair that went sitting unused is back at the store, and Madison is the proud owner of a Dora couch. She hasn't gotten off it!

The inside has a sleeping bag. It's cute. She fell asleep on Ryan and Alex's couch last night, so we just had to get her one.

Today was babygirl's first day at the beach! We had a good time, but unfortunately I forgot my camera so I couldn't take any pictures. Tomorrow I'll take some for everyone to see.

You know, I never thought that anyone would enjoy eating -sand- so much. Ohh well, babies are silly.

Balloon Time Fun! Madison loves this balloon thing. I don't know where Lauren and Chris got such a nice, durable balloon, but she -loves- it. It's probably her favorite thing in the world right now, which makes me giggle.

So, I have neglected to mention that babygirl can walk now. She (very slowly) will walk from one side of a room to another. But, this also happens to be when no one other than Michael and myself are watching. For other people, she'll walk just a little bit, or not at all, and then I get called a liar.

Pillow Monster!

So, I just had to show this because it's adorable. She's been laying like this for ten minutes, but the past twenty minutes have been spent rolling around in these pillows, cracking up. I've rolled with her and made a fort out of a blanket. She gets a kick out of it.

It's been awhile!

So cute. This morning we played parachute with the blanket. She loved it. She always goes nuts when I fold the blanket in the morning and crawls under it and plays until I'm done. I bet she's going to be one of those kids that builds forts.

I'll admit it. I'll enjoy building forts with her. Forts are awesome.

Poolside fun!!

So. Yesterday we went out and bought Madison her own little pool and some toys so we could go out there with the boys and hang out while they were in the pool. I took some video on my cell phone, so sorry if the quality isn't super fantastic, but it is really cute!!

Wonderful weekend!

So this weekend was very productive. Mike and I have officially (99%) completed our room. Save for a few little things that are going to be taken care of asap.

His parents came to visit. That was nice. Here's Barbara and Madison, cuddling!

Mmm... slow week ahead of us. It's nice out, so we'll be going to the park and stuff hopefully.

So this afternoon Mike, Madison and I went to the park to enjoy some lunch with my friend Jessica. We had a good time! It was super nice out, and I got this awesome picture with my cell phone. (Nonna won't like this because she's on Mike's shoulders, but admit it, she's super cute.)

We had a good time though. Of course Mike complained about the amount of bugs, but whatever.

She just fell asleep on my right arm, so since I've only got one hand to type, I'm going to cut this short. Bye!

Madison had a great time. Until the last two days probably. She got sick of being in her stroller a lot. Glad to be home now.

So this weekend we went to Mike's parents house and had a great time. Haha, it's relaxing when we go there! They're baby glomers, so we just get to sit around and hang out! (Haha, not saying it like there's anything wrong with being a baby glomer!)

She's sitting on the floor drooling like mad going, 'Bah bah bah bah bah, ma ma ma ma ma ma" as she chews on her tigger rattle, watching the count on sesame street. So cute.

Hmm. That's about it, for now. OOH! Her top two teeth are coming in. I can see them breaking through.

And that's that.

Crawling... kinda.

Baby girl can stand for a good ten minutes if I prop her up. She can't pull herself up, but she can hold on if she gets there.

She also started to go on her stomach and pull herself to her knees. She does the cute little rocking back and forth thing. Sometimes she'll push her legs straight out and go on her tippie toes, starting to do pushups! It's the craziest thing.

She was doing a lot of faceplanting, but she stopped that, really.

She's eight months old now. Could anyone imagine that that much time has gone by? It amazes me every day. Love this little girl like woah.

WHOO HOO!

So! Mike just called me from work and told me that on a whim he went and bought a scratchoff while he was picking up a soda, and he won $10,000!!! Holy crap I'm so excited! This will really help! The guy that always said that gambling was wrong WON!!

The baby is doing great. She's excited about the extra money that we have. Totally saving it all. We need it to one day buy a house. Now were a lot closer. Ooh, and one last thing? April Fools. I WISH!

In all reality, Madison is good, Mike is good, I'm good. And that is all. <3

Le'Sigh!

"Ooh, all of these toys... these are all -boring.- I am going to lie down here and look depressed."

She remained like this for like... half an hour. What a funny little girl.

We went to Mike's parents house from Saturday Afternoon-Sunday Afternoon. It was nice. Went to his grandparent's house and saw a lot of family that Mike and I haven't seen in years. Lots of people were meeting Madison for the first time. She was the belle of the ball!

Mmm... not much else to say, really. When I get some, I'll put pictures of her in her little easter dress up. I think my dad has one or two from when we tried it on before Easter on the computer already. I should find somewhere to put a printer and scanner so I can do my own photo stuff again. I should also find a memory card and my charger for my digital camera. Although, my digital is kind of bleh. I might look into a new one if the husband will allow it. Nikon D40? Yes please. I know a few places where you can get it much cheaper than what this site is saying. Still expensive though. I'd get great pictures of babygirl though.

It's been awhile!

It's not so much that I forgot about the blog. It's just... well, I forgot about the blog. I didn't really forget forget. Just never thought to post. It's on my list of things I click at least five times a day as I sit on my computer, but I never really did anything about it. So, here is a post.

Madison is really good at sitting up on her own now. Still put the bopee behind her because she does fall over, but for the most part she stays up. She can roll over now. She loves to move. I bet anything that she'll be crawling within the next month. Wuh oh...

Other than being all around adorable, well, there's not much else to say!

Heya Peoples.

Look at those cheeks. I'm doing better. Kinda. I mean, I still feel crappy, but the doctors keep claiming nothing is actually wrong with me so there's nothing I can really do. I bought a bunch of over the counter drugs that they claim will help. We'll see.

Madison is being adorable as always. Mike is coming home from work early today so that'll be fun. We're going to go to Jersey Gardens tonight and look at the Gymboree store to see if they have the bathing suit I want to get for her. We'll also probably pick up some dinner and stuff like that. Good times.

I don't have a picture to go with this because I can't get near Madison. I have strep throat. Mike stayed home from work today and I never thought I could miss her this much and it's only 11am. This either means I have to get out of the house more, or that she has taken over my life. I think it's a bit of both.

Anyway, I feel terrible, so going to -try- and sleep, although I haven't been able to. I can't get comfortable.

An actual update.

Alright, so here's an actual update with some things that Madison has been up to.

She loooves doing raspberries, and she loves grabbing glasses.

She started to eat solid foods, including oatmeal, carrots, and sweet potato! She is allergic to rice.

She has TWO teeth now on the bottom. They're still growing in so you can't see them in the picture, but I'm not quite sure I like this breastfeeding business anymore because of them.

She also started to sit up by herself. For some reason she -refuses- to roll over. No idea why, but she will one of these days, hopefully.

Mm, that's all I can really think about. We're doing gymboree tomorrow and on Wednesday. She really likes the Gymboree classes. Tomorrow I'm going out to lunch with another mother that goes. That should be fun I hope!

So today, I'm on a quest to find furniture for our room to make it more livable. Right now, I'm going to go a bit crazy if my bedroom is my livingroom is my kitchen. So, I'm going to make some adjustments.

Here is the cute girl... granted, she's got a bit of drool coming down her face. The picture was too cute not to put up though. And hey, babies -drool.- Nothing we can do about it. So, it's just all the more natural, right?

She drools a lot actually. Teething and whatnot. Tried to get a picture drool free, but every time I wiped the drool away, then picked up the camera again, she'd just drool all over again.
