Lindsey, last message I promise, lol, but I know what you are going through because Danielle was just as active as Madison, she was always climbing, jumping, running, and no fear. Mike was always cautious, very calm. Danielle started to calm down about 5 yrs. old, she was much harder than Mike.
Anounymous, sorry if I sounded like I was "preaching"...Didn't mean to that really, I actually was only trying to help, didn't want to come across the way it did! Sorry...
It's me Lauren!! I was telling Lindsey that she was preaching to the choir meaning ME!! Ryan was the biggest monkey in the world. He learned how to climb out of his crib before he could walk. We bought one of those crib tents for his crib and he figured out how to rip the netting with his finger and open up the zipper. He figured out how to scale my cabinets vertically to get something on top of the fridge. This was all before he was 18months old. Sorry didn't mean to be so vague....
oops Lauren sorry!!! I thought someone was writing to me because I left too many messages on the blog, lol!!! I went through the same with Danielle when she was young. Once she actually climbed over the baby gate and "jumped" right down a small set of stairs! I thought my heart stopped when I saw this happen, couldn't reach her in time- but Danielle didn't even cry, she started to smile at "her accomplishment"!
OMG, how did she get up there? I mean I know she climbed, but I can't believe it!
ReplyDeleteWhat really frightens me is the window right behind her, God forbid she ever fell into the glass window...
